WHY IS THIS WATCH IMPORTANT
Universal Genève had seen a rise in the last few years, especially on early chronographs, but there's a lot more than Chronos out there and this particular piece is one of those ones that clearly stands out from the crowd.
This ¨Tank style¨ watch features a white enamel dial with black Roman numbers that instantly calls our attention, black stick hands, and a case to die for, lots of time and care were obviously put into this design.
We never saw another one in this condition, if you want a Tank-watch but want something out of the ordinary this is your call.
CONDITION
This watch is in overall great almost new old stock condition, the case is unpolished and sharp on the edges, there are some minor micro scratches on the case sides. The dial and hands are in great condition with some minor aging and patina normal for a watch of this age along with some spyder cracks which are very coveted.
The crown is original.
The watch has been recently serviced and keeps good time for a watch of its age.
