There’s an immediate resemblance to the Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref. 96, but this watch quickly becomes its own thing. The two-tone sector dial is the real draw, moving between silver, white, and glossy surfaces as the light changes, a subtle effect that is far more convincing on the wrist than in photographs.

The stepped bezel already puts the case in rare territory, but it’s the dial configuration that makes this one especially compelling. Applied Breguet numerals, among the most sought-after details in vintage watches today, give the otherwise restrained design real character. Add center seconds to the equation, and the combination becomes considerably harder to find. It’s the sort of watch you simply don’t come across very often.
