*RARE* 1930s Eterna 'Pilots Watch' Jumbo 38mm | Salmon Dial | Cal. 852

We are pleased to offer this fantastic piece, this late 1930s 38mm stainless steel jumbo is pure pilot-watch energy, and it’s the very, very rare all-steel version. Most are found in chrome, but none match this dial color or its incredible preservation, let alone this size, only a handfull are known and are in 36mm cases. On the wrist, it feels like a Spitfire in full flight, the roar of a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine in your imagination.

The dial is the real star: a gorgeous salmon tone with racetrack and 60-second markings divided every 5 seconds, paired with bold, wide blued hands. Elegant, legible, and perfectly balanced, every glance at your wrist is a pleasure.

Inside beats the venerable and big 14-ligne Eterna 852, running at 18,000 vph with a 50-hour power reserve. A true workhorse, the same movement was used in Czech Air Force “Majetek” watches, blending reliability and history.

Not just rare in size, color, and condition, but a wrist statement. This is a watch that combines mechanical brilliance, Art Deco style, and vintage aviation spirit in one unforgettable package.

Paired to a period correct and porbably its original Bolklip style bracelet is a perfect match.

CONDITION

The case is very sharp and unpolished, the dial is clean with minimal aging spots, but overall in stunning shape, very bright and colorful.
