1970s Heuer Daytona Chronograph | Ref 110.203B | Calibre 12 Automatic | With Bracelet and Leather Strap

WHY IS THIS WATCH IMPORTANT

Is hard to exclude Heuer when talking about the most iconic chronographs in history, the Carrera, and Autavia are some of the ones to come to mind first.

But there is so much to explore on this path, the Daytona is certainly underrated but we believe not for too long, it screams 1970s with its brushed case and integrated bracelet, is impossible to confuse it with the more famous Daytona from Rolex.

Is all about the dial, with a striking blue that changes hues when playing with the light, it becomes at some angles even purple.

Well-proportioned with a date window at 6 o'clock and the winding crow at the left side it is without any doubt a very fun watch to wear.

This example is reference 110.203B, the B indicates the color of the dial. One important thing to point out is the venerable Calibre 12 Automatic movement, a well-known and respected caliber.

Produced from 1976 to 1980 in short runs, they are getting harder to find in good conditions.

We have included a custom-made Saffiano strap for this one, with a matching blue color that is a perfect combo for sporty occasions.

CONDITION

This watch is in great overall condition, the case is sharp and has probably been professionally polished at some point in the past. The dial has an overall very pleasant patina tone, and the lume markers have lost some of their tritium fill.

The watch has just been serviced and keeps good time for a watch of its age.
