MINT* 1956 Omega Constellation French Case | 18K Pink Rose Gold | No-Lume Two-Tone Dial | With Box

At first glance, this looks like a familiar early Constellation. A closer look, however, reveals one of the most intriguing and elusive variants in the model's history.

Produced in 1956, everything that defined the early Constellation comes together with one of the model's rarest case executions. Instead of the familiar Swiss manufacture, this watch was housed in an 18k rose gold case made by Précision Genève France (PGF), one of the French case makers Omega occasionally employed to navigate local import duties and gold regulations.

The difference is immediate once it's examined. A slimmer bezel, longer sculpted lugs, and beautifully balanced proportions give this French-cased Constellation a more refined presence, while preserving everything that makes a first-generation Connie so unmistakable.

Equally impressive is the level of preservation. The case remains wonderfully sharp, the observatory medallion retains all of its definition, and the untouched two-tone dial still displays the depth and brilliance that made these early Constellations so special.

French-cased Constellations occupy a fascinating niche within the model's history. Produced in small numbers and rarely encountered today, they offer a fresh perspective on one of Omega's most celebrated designs. For collectors who appreciate the details, few Constellations are more satisfying to discover.
