We’re thrilled to offer this exceptionally beautiful and remarkably well-preserved Tissot chronograph from 1937, a true connoisseur’s delight. The glossy black gilt dial is an absolute showstopper, packed with vintage charisma: multiscale layout, outer enameled tachymeter with green text, inner pulsations scale, and a telemeter arc sweeping across the center. The gold hands add a touch of warmth and elegance, glowing beautifully against the black lacquered surface.
On a large 38mm stainless steel case, with a wide flat bezel that gives it real presence on the wrist, something you don’t often see in chronographs from the 1930s. The size, the dial layout, and all the multi-scale details just work together in a way that feels balanced and purposeful.
A very collectible example, clearly cared for over the years. It’s the kind of watch that reminds you why vintage Tissot can be so satisfying to collect.
CONDITION
The dial is unquestionably the star here, catching the light in all the right ways and shifting tones as you move your wrist. It remains in genuine, untouched condition, showing only the lightest signs of age, yet overall it’s in strikingly good shape: bright, crisp, and wonderfully sharp.
The case is sharp and thick, probably polished in the past but remains in stunning condition with its original lines.
The watch has just been fully serviced and keeps great time.
The amplitude is 218°, the Rate is +12s/d.
