Seiko's history began in 1881, when its founder Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori". In 1969, Seiko introduced the Astron, the world's first production quartz watch; when it was introduced, it cost the same as a medium-sized car.
CONDITION
This watch is in overall very nice condition, the case appears to have been very lightly polished in the past but remains strong. Dial and hands are in great shape.
The watch has been recently serviced and keeps good time for a watch of its age.
