Among the elite trio of Swiss watchmakers, Vacheron Constantin often remains the most discreetly appreciated. Yet its history is rich with technical brilliance and timeless design.
This mid-century gem from the early 1950s captures that spirit perfectly, combining craftsmanship, elegance, and a touch of the unexpected.
With only a handful known to exist, most featuring the distinctive honeycomb dial, this example stands apart with its cleaner, more minimalist design, offering a refined aesthetic.
The sculptural chain-like lugs lend it a confident wrist presence, understated, yet unmistakably sophisticated. A rare find from an era where Vacheron quietly led through refinement rather than fanfare.
Powered by Vacheron’s in-house manual-winding P454/5B, it embodies the quiet sophistication that has made the maison one of the most respected names in haute horlogerie.
CONDITION
The case is very sharp and unpolished, the dial has a warm patina over it, with minimal aging spots, more pronounced towards the right side.
The crown is original and unsigned.
