1964 Universal Genève Polerouter Date | Microtor | Big Crown | Cross-Hair Dial | Ref.204612-1

Universal Genève has seen a remarkable revival lately, led by the iconic Polerouter, designed by none other than Gérald Genta, the genius behind the Patek Philippe Nautilus and Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. With its sleek lines and groundbreaking micro-rotor movement, the Polerouter was ahead of its time and remains a standout piece in horological history. This unique mechanism not only showcases UG’s technical innovation but also adds to the watch’s enduring appeal among collectors.

The example we’re offering is in extraordinary, near-mint condition. Its case remains crisp and unpolished, while the silver sunburst dial is flawlessly preserved. The steel dauphine hands and hour markers still hold their original tritium, now mellowed into a light, cream-hued patina that radiates warmth and vintage character, a true time capsule from the golden age of Swiss watchmaking.
