WHY IS THIS WATCH IMPORTANT

We are glad to be able to offer this fantastic large 1940s Tissot chronograph, this decade was the most interesting period for chronograph wristwatches.

With a large diameter case of 37.5 mm, the venerable high-grade Cal.15TL is the same as Omega´s 33.3 caliber. With a stunning two-tone dial with a rare Pulsations configuration, also what appears to be very unusual is the inclusion of Roman and Arabic numbers in the same dial.

The case is also rare, the angular faceted lugs are very uncommon and coveted.

CONDITION

This watch is in great overall condition, the case is very sharp and retains its original lines. The dial has an overall very pleasant patina.
Inside the case back we can see some small scratches probably made during the opening and closing of the back.

The watch has just been serviced and keeps good time for a watch of its age.
