1940s Tissot Chronograph 15TL / 33.3 | Multi-Color | Two-Tone Dial | Rare Faceted Lugs | 37.5mm

We are delighted to present this exceptional large Tissot chronograph from the 1940s, a decade renowned for its fascinating chronograph wristwatches. The timepiece boasts a substantial 37.5mm case housing the esteemed high-grade Cal. 15TL, the same movement as Omega's 33.3 caliber.

It features a multi-color dial (black and grey with orange and gilt scales) complete with both tachymeter and telemeter scales. This particular dial variant is exceptionally rare; we have only encountered a handful of examples.

CONDITION

The dial is undoubtedly the highlight, shifting shades beautifully with the light. It’s in authentic condition, showing a few scratches and service marks, yet remains complete and stunning. The radium is fully intact and glows consistently under UV light. While the Tissot logo has faded, it’s still visible from certain angles.

The watch has just been serviced and keeps great time.
The amplitude is 238°, the Rate +5s/d and Bear Error 0.1ms.
