WHY THIS WATCH MATTERS

A beautiful and unique Movado Acvatic from the early 40s, this particular example stands out from the crowd due to its very distinctive design details, the first thing to notice is the Breguet raised numerals in rose gold together with the sword-shaped bezel also in rose gold color.

Second is the case, made by the very famous François Borgel, the very same case maker that made the most collectible Patek Phillipe vintage watches.

This piece is 28,5mm but feels larger due to its case design, the extended lugs give a wider impression and feel.

CONDITION

This watch is in great overall condition, with an unpolished and sharp case with some light micro scratches.  The dial is clean with a very light even patina.
Inside the case back we can see a couple of small scratches probably made during the opening and closing of the back.

The watch is in running condition and keeps good time for a watch of its age.
