*VERY RARE* 1938 Movado Chronograph | Multi-Scale Gilt Galvanic Black Dial | Ref. 19005 Cal. M90 | Stepped Case

Every now and then, a watch surfaces that reminds us just how deep the rabbit hole of vintage Movado can go. This is one of those pieces. Easily among the rarest Movado chronographs we've had the pleasure of handling, it checks nearly every box for serious collectors. Early M90 chronographs are tough enough to track down, especially in strong, honest condition, but this one takes it a step further. The stepped case is exceptionally uncommon, and the multi-scale gilt galvanic dial? Only three are known with this exact dial layout. It's the kind of watch that rarely comes to market.

For collectors chasing the unusual and the ultra-rare, this one sits in a category all its own.
