*VERY RARE* 1930s Movado Cronoplan Two-Tone Dial | Ref. 11764 | Cal. 150MN

Arguably the rarest watch ever produced by Movado, the Cronoplan was developed and patented in the early 1930s with a visionary design tailored for drivers and pilots to measure extended time intervals.

Its ingenious mechanism features two concentric, bi-directional rotating bezels encircling the crystal. The outer bezel is used to set the minutes, while the red dot on the inner bezel aligns with the hour hand and the red dot on the outer bezel marks the minute hand. Once the timing period ends, the elapsed time is easily read from the numbers indicated by the hands.

CONDITION

This watch is in good and honest condition, considering its age. Both rotating bezels turn smooth and firmly. The dial has some aging and light even patina. The Radium fill is complete in both hands and dial.

The watch has just been serviced.
