Some watches need complications to make their case. The Seamaster 120 needs almost nothing at all. Compact, purposeful, and remarkably well balanced, it comes from an era when a proper sports watch could be genuinely capable without looking or feeling oversized.

This particular execution is arguably the one to have. No date window, no automatic winding, just a clean, highly legible dial, a manually wound movement, and a rotating bezel. There is a purity to the whole thing that feels increasingly difficult to find, and even harder not to appreciate once you have handled one.

Introduced in the mid-1960s, the Seamaster 120 carried forward Omega's longstanding emphasis on robustness and everyday reliability. Its slim waterproof case, screw-down back, and unmistakable Hippocampus engraving gave it the credentials of a serious tool watch while keeping the proportions wonderfully wearable.

And this is where the present example really separates itself. Offered with its original box and preserved in near-mint condition, the case is clean, unpolished, and exceptionally sharp. The dial is clean, free of rust, and very bright. Add the beautifully aged creamy lume and original Ref. 1069 Omega bracelet, and you have what is perhaps one of the finest examples of the reference still out there.
