WHY IS THIS WATCH IMPORTANT
On very few occasions we find and offer a watch that just stands out from the crowd, this is one of those times, Ulysse Nardin is well known as some of the finest divers watches out there during the 50s and 60s, they were on the top of the food chain regarding quality and desirability.
This Skin-diver offers a healthy 37mm and a 60 click bidirectional SS bezel, a black matte dial with some of the most beautiful ¨star-dust¨patina we've seen in a long time. The thick hands and markers are full of bright yellow Tritium.
Only a few of these examples have reached the surface and none on this condition, with a screw-down case back and an original signed crown, this piece is outstanding.
CONDITION
This watch is in overall great condition, the dial is in great shape. The case is unpolished and all edges for the original shape are still strong, with only light signs of normal wear with no major blemishes. There is some aging present on the markers on top of the tritium. The Plexiglas is vintage and probably the original one. The watch has been recently serviced and keeps good time for a watch of its age.
