WHY IS THIS WATCH IMPORTANT
The reference 7909 is among Tudor collectors one of the most coveted. While black dials are rare and sought-after, the BIG-ROSE logo is perhaps one of the rarest of all variants.
Only a handful of these had surfaced on the web in the last decade or so, this particular one being no-date is more desirable to collectors.
The dial is in great condition, bright, and with a deep black hue, the text is all present and very legible, tritium is all there in markers and hands with a matching creamy color. The case is in honest condition with some small dings and scratches but overall remains strong, case back shows the serial number and reference.
The watch is in running condition, has been recently serviced, and keeps good time for a watch of its age.
