WHY THIS WATCH MATTERS
Here we have a fantastic Mido Multifort Super-Automatic watch, with an original black glossy Gilt dial and outer 60 seconds chapter ring.
This stainless steel case was manufactured by François Borgel, later known as Taubert, Borgel case backs will typically have the Borgel “FB and Key” stamped on the inside to signify their manufacturer. Sometimes, the inside of the case back may only be stamped “BRIT PAT 385509” which represents the British patent registration number for the Swiss patent on Borgel’s cases.
The dial is bright and super clean, the case is unpolished and still retains all its original lines, brushed and beveled.
The case size is 33mm but feels significantly larger due to the thin bezel and large dial.
