The current Constellation, dating back to 1956, possesses several qualities highly cherished by seasoned collectors. A mere 10% of all dials were produced in black, and only a minute fraction of those attained the coveted tropical appearance, requiring specific and particular conditions for such a transformation to occur.

Omega Constellation is an icon on its own, the line has been one of the longest-running watches out there, in the last years the tendency is prone to smaller watches and these pieces are getting more and more attention.

The line was introduced to showcase OMEGA's craftsmanship through a classic design housing high-grade movements. The dial is equipped with a star on the button, as a reference to constellations. And on the case-back, the Observatory Logo is used to remind the  Omega’s award-winning movements that were evaluated at the Kew Observatory in 1933 and 1936.
