This particular timepiece is an exceptional rarity, being a reference CK2451 specifically created for the Argentinian military Air Force. The dial is designed in a military style, with a super rare white dial, luminescent Arabic numerals, and the emblem of the Argentinian Air Force etched onto the case back. Making it a must-have for collectors of both rare and historical timepieces.
It is challenging to find this Omega chronograph since it was exclusively made for the Argentinian Air Force, which is evident from the emblem engraved on its back. The historical significance of military timepieces is unparalleled, and this watch is no exception. Unlike the civilian version of this model, which was never produced, most of the military editions were sold to the Hungarian and Polish Air Forces. Therefore, this particular version from Argentina is one of the scarcest examples available.
This watch is in overall great condition, the case seems unpolished and sharp on the edges, the dial had developed a patina all over it due to the Radium, and there are some small signs of aging visible at close inspection, the hands and dial still have its original Radium fill, the movement is super clean and complete.
The watch keeps good time and is in running condition.
-This watch was photographed on a 6.9 inch / 175mm wrist.
