1940s Movado 'Raised Breguet Numbers' Calatrava Style | Large 35mm | Cal. 125 | Ref. 18114

WHY IS THIS WATCH IMPORTANT

A piece of design, this Movado feels larger than its 35mm due to the wide dial and thin bezel.

This exceptional design offers raised Breguet Numerals, just like the classic steel Patek 570, 565 watches. The lugs have a slight curvation that wraps the wrist nicely.

The heated-blue stick hands complement the dial design.

The vintage Movado market has surged in recent years, elevating the brand status among collectors. The brand was founded in 1881, and ever since, it's been known as one of Switzerland's most diverse and recognizable watch brands. Water-resistant chronographs are some of the most searched pieces in the Movado world.

 CONDITION

This watch is in great overall condition, with an unpolished and sharp case with some light scratches throughout. The dial has developed an even patina and there are a few light scratches and aging around the edges.
Inside the case back we can see a few small scratches probably made during the opening and closing of the back.
The watch is in running condition and keeps good time for a watch of its age.
